In 2017, for the first time since the cold war, the tension between the USA and North Korea rose.
I decided to try to understand how the Koreans feel about the situation.
I arrived in Munsan, Gyeonggi Do Province on October 21st.
Musan is located close to the edge of demilitarized zone and near the Joint Security Area.
Munsan has heavy military presence and residents have resigned themselves to living with constantly with the risk of armed conflict with the North, however I found absolute tranquillity amongst the people.
Nobody here seems to fear Kim Jong-un.
There are many soldiers around the city but no one is armed. Children play and wander safely alone, people meet in small places where they eat, talk and spend time together.
While the whole world is worried about what can happen here, Munsan apparently lives without tension.
